The FlyOnE Sky-E Race is at the forefront of piloted electric air racing, offering a new format that leverages the latest certified electric aircraft, the Pipistrel Electro. From modern team architecture to innovative race formats, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of aerial racing.

SkyE Race provides a platform for electric aviation to inspire new and existing pilots, growing a culture that will usher in a new era of sustainable pilot training and air transport.

Teams

Race teams will consist of Two Pilots, one Male, one Female and a team figure head (manager, mascot or public figure). There are no limit to how many teams can register. Team members will need to be minimum 200 hour Pilots, with a minimum of 10 hours in the Pipistrel ALPHA of VELIS Electro.

Race Locations and Format

The SkyE Race is a global series, allowing teams from anywhere in the world to compete, so long as they meet the team requirements below. The 'TRACK' (course) can be duplicated in any region and competitors will be scored on their ability to fly the track with the least amount of energy used, without breaching any of the VFR requirements and course thresholds.

The course will be issued 1 week prior to the nominated Round dates in GPX format so it can be uploaded to the Electro Instrument display allowing 1 week of practice time for the team prior to the Round nominated dates. Practice may be completed up to the date nominated by the Team.
